Our founding director originated from humble beginnings in the early 1990's working in a factory manufacturing shoelaces, lanyards, cords, tapes and elastic in Melbourne, Australia.

By the late 1990's he had been promoted to a senior managerial position and was tasked to undertake a major role in relocating manufacturing offshore.

In the early 2000's, Worldwide Lanyards (HK) Limited was formed and Hong Kong was establised as our main office, while manufacturing operations were moved to a new facility in Guangdong, China near the City of Pinghu in Shenzhen.

Through hardwork and perserverance the newly formed company and factory quickly gained a reputation as a supplier of high quality lanyards at competitive prices with a quick turnaround.

In 2010, the opportunity arose again to streamline the supply chain of raw materials and to lower the production cost and therefore the production was moved to Dongguan in Shenzhen.
This coincided with renaming the company to Books Fountain Limited to reflect the increased opportunity to supply alternative products to our customers as new opportunities arose from the new location.

EXPERTISE
We have cumulated over 25 years of experience of manufacturing lanyards through the initial drawing of the artwork design to the selection of raw materials and assembly of the lanyard. We were the pioneers of using different materials and print methods to produce a premium quality lanyard that was colourful, inexpensive and long lasting.

Our long history of expertise in the production of tapes, cords, string, elastics, fabrics and shoe laces has been invaluable to our success.

We have also been a wholesale supplier of all forms of haberdashery such as arts and crafts.
